UP History Department participates in earthquake drill, 13 March 2025
Faculty, staff, and students of the UP Department of History participated in the first quarter’s Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) last 13 March 2025.
It was conducted by virtue of Memorandum No. 73, s. 2025 of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, which aims to harness government units on what to do when an earthquake happens.
Owing to searing heat, the UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs (OVCCA) adjusted the campus’ earthquake drill participation to 2 p.m., an hour ahead of the nationwide drill schedule.
