EMMANUEL JAYSON V. BOLATA is an instructor at the Department of History, University of the Philippines Diliman. He is a recipient of the 2019 Empowering Network for International Thai and ASEAN Studies (ENITAS) Scholarship, from the Institute of Thai Studies, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. His book on children’s literature and history, Hindi Lang Basta Bata: Mga Pananaliksik at Panunuri sa Kasaysayan at Panitikang Pambata, was recently published by the Sentro ng Wikang Filipino- UP Diliman in 2020.
