U.P. Lipunang Pangkasaysayan (U.P. LIKAS) is an academic organization based in the University of the Philippines Diliman. It was established in 1971 but was among the many student organizations banned due to the declaration of Martial Law in 1972. It was reinstituted again in 1973, but would only last until 1980. The present organization is the result of the re-establishment of U.P. Likas in January 1988. The organization aims to unite and provide spaces for students who are interested in history; to broaden and promote historical consciousness and historical knowledge; and to contribute in the existing body of historical knowledge.
