Lecture: The Dignity of a Woman: Trinidad Pardo de Tavera and the Modern Filipina

Asst. Prof. Rhoda Wani Obias delivered a lecture titled "The Dignity of a Woman: Trinidad Pardo de Tavera and the Modern Filipina" during the commemorative lecture series The Scholar and Nation Builder, marking the 100th death anniversary of Trinidad H. Pardo de Tavera.

The event was held on 22 April 2025 at the Study Hall of the Rizal Library, Ateneo de Manila University. Organized in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University’s Rizal Library and Department of History, the Philippine Historical Association, and the Philippine National Historical Society, the program paid tribute to Pardo de Tavera’s enduring legacy as a nation-builder.
