Bilang bahagi ng programang Talastasan sa Kasaysayan, inilulunsad ng Departamento ng Kasaysayan ang isang serye ng mga webinar bilang paggunita ika-50 taon ng Diliman Commune at sa ika-500 taon ng pagiging bahagi ng Pilipinas sa unang pag-ikot ng mundo. Tampok na aktibidad ito ng UP Diliman Arts and Culture Festival (dating UP Diliman Month) na itinataguyod taun-taon ng Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (OICA).

Layunin ng pangapat webinar na ito na pinamagatang “Mapping Perspectives on Indigenous Warfare” na kinabibilangan ng mga tagapagsalitang si Dr. Felice Noelle Rodriguez (Ateneo de Zamboanga University) at Dr. Jose Amiel P. Angeles na mabigyan ng kabuluhang pangkasaysayan at kahalagahang pangkasalukuyan ang ang ng labanan sa Mactan noong Abril 1521.

FORMAT AND PARTICIPATION

This event will be held online via the National Quincentennial Commission of the Philippines (NQC) portal. The conference is free of charge and certificates will be granted to participants via the NQC portal. However, only a limited number of participants will be accommodated.
