While we are aware that the application to the CSSP graduate programs may be difficult because of the current situations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Graduate Programs at CSSP will temporarily be accepting Online applications for admission until further notice. Please see the application process below:
HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CSSP GRADUATE ADMISSION:
Step 1: Download and complete the Graduate Program Application form from:
Step 2: Check the online requirements of the program provided in the table below or check the Department/ Institute’s website/social media accounts for their admission requirements. (See the photos posted)
For the UP History Department, the specific requirements are the following:
a) Application letter
b) Transcript or True copy of grades
d) CV with passport-sized photo,
e) 2 recommendation letters (one from a former professor)
f) PSA Birth Certificate
Step 3: Submit all required online application materials to the official email address of the Department/ Program provided. Please take note of the deadlines.

Step 4: For programs that require interviews, the Department/Institute will be contacting you regarding the schedule of your interview.
Step 5: Pay the Application fee of P100. The Bill of Payment will be issued by the Department once the requirements are submitted. Payments may be made through the following:
1. Payment using Landbank Linkbiz.
2. Online Payment Transaction
3. Direct Bank Payment
Step 6: Wait for the result of your application via email. The Office of the Graduate Program will inform you of the result of your application via email once the Department/Institute has forwarded it to our office.
Step 7: If you get accepted into a program, the Office of the Graduate Program will ask you to submit the original hard copy of the documents listed below together with the proof of payment from the U.P. Cashier’s Office or LandBank before you can process your admission. Please take note that these documents may only be submitted upon the resumption of regular office work in UP Diliman.
a) Application Form with GWA (General Weighted Average) Certification
b) Application Letter addressed to the Dean
c) Curriculum Vitae (CV)
d) Original and Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
e) Original and Photocopy of PSA Marriage Contract (for married women)
f) Original and Certified True Copy of Official Transcript of Records (OTR/TOR)
g) Transfer Credential/Honorable Dismissal (for non-UP graduates)
h) 2 copies of Passport-sized photos
