About

Patrick James Serra is an Assistant Professor of the Department of History, University of the Philippines Diliman. He teaches Kasaysayan 1 (History of the Philippines), Kasaysayan 2 (Asia and the World), Kasaysayan 100 (Introduction to World Civilizations), and NSTP CWTS. He is currently the junior adviser of the Model United Nations Delegation - University of the Philippines Diliman and Student Development Coordinator of the Department of History. PJ obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Arts in History from UP Diliman in 2018 and 2026 respectively. His masteral thesis is entitled "Negotiating Public Health: Coldwar Healthcare and Philippine Diplomacy, 1946-1978”. His research interests include diplomatic history of the Philippines, cultural heritage studies, and Cold War period.
