Nicole Margaret A. Villabroza is a graduate student and teaching associate at the Department of History, University of the Philippines-Diliman. She is particularly interested in the Vietnamese diaspora in the Philippines, exploring its historical and sociocultural dynamics. She focuses on the mobility patterns, identity formation, exchanges and circulations, and transnational connections between Vietnamese refugees and their descendants in the Philippines. Her other scholarly interests include the local history of Quezon Province, history of science and medicine, and the post-WWII experiences of Filipino soldiers.
