Australian Catholic University Students Visit UP for Academic and Cultural Exchange
As a result of an MOA forged between the UP Department of History and the Australian Catholic University and in coordination with the Third World Studies Center, 18 students from the Australian Catholic University were accompanied by their faculty, Dr. Kristie Flannery and our very own Asst. Prof. Dondy Ramos as they visited the Philippines from November 24 to December 5. Beginning from UP Los Baños where they were introduced to topics on the environment to UP Diliman where they attended talks on history, politics, language, and culture, the students engaged in a variety of activities designed to provide an introductory glimpse into Philippine society and culture.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped in making this activity possible especially our UP student coordinators, tour coordinators, and lecturers. We look forward to similar endeavors in the future as we continue to strengthen our ties and linkages with partner institutions. Mabuhay!
