History Majors Conduct First Undergrad Colloquium

BA History students of the University of the Philippines Diliman taking up Kas 199 under Prof. Ma. Mercedes Planta, PhD exhibited their research skills at the 1st Undergraduate History Majors Colloquium 2025. Dubbed as "Defying Gravity," the colloquium was held at the Pilar Herrera Hall, Palma Hall on 7 April 2025.

Topics ranged from "colonialism and religion to war, post-colonial diplomacy, and national identity, this colloquium will offer a unique platform for students to engage with scholars and experts," per the press release issued by the UP Department of History.

Retired UP Diliman History Professor Milagros Guerrero graced the occasion as Keynote Speaker.
